Hello, and welcome to the web page for our Building Tradition One Soul at a Time Capital Campaign. It is with great pleasure that I share with you the plans for Pope John Paul II Academy (PJPA) and our scholars.
While many have visited us here at the former restaurant that currently houses our school and students, this web opportunity will bring PJPA into your home and office should your schedule prevent you from an on-site visit. The video will share the joy of our student body and the sacrificial commitment of our parents to PJPA. The case statement will help you to know us a bit more and outline the specifics of the project.
The school is currently in negotiations for a piece of property in the Northern Lafayette area. When details become available, this site will be the place to gain the most up-to-date information regarding the campaign.
You may ask, “Why another Catholic school? Why now?” Good questions. The truth is that PJPA serves a portion of the Catholic population that is not being served elsewhere in the greater Lafayette area. As the school begins its third academic year, I know we are blessed with staff and faculty who are more committed than ever to the rigorous spiritual and academic formation of our scholars. In a society that seems ever-hostile to what is good and just, PJPA can remain a small beacon of light in that moral wilderness; the Building Tradition One Soul at a Time Capital Campaign will ensure that our good work here flourishes for many generations to come.
