PJPA Recognized for Its Catholic Identity

During the 2008-2009 school year, Pope John Paul II Academy was named a national category leader in Catholic identity by the Acton Institute's Catholic High School Honor Roll. This prestigious award recognizes what PJPA does best--form students spiritually. It is highly uncommon for any school to be recognized so early in its history, so we are proud of this accomplishment. In fact, the 2008-2009 school year was the first time that a school from Louisiana was recognized; we joined St. Michael the Archangel High School in Baton Rouge as one of ten schools nationwide on the Catholic Identity list, which you can see at www.chshonor.org.
